Tony’s Town Square Restaurant is your only table service option, and it might be our least favorite restaurant at Disney World. Unfortunately, the outdoor dining options at Magic Kingdom are pretty sparse. If a restaurant is listed in “The Rest,” it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a bad option.

I’ve broken it up into “The Best” and “The Rest.” The restaurants listed in “The Best” either have delicious food, great outdoor seating sections, food that’s easy to eat on the go, or any combination of the above.

In this series, I’m going to be breaking down the best places to eat outside at Disney World, starting with a complete guide to outdoor dining at Magic Kingdom. But as I plan my Disney trips, I thought that having a list of where you can eat outside at Disney World would be really useful to have.

What you feel comfortable with when you go to Disney World may be different. Personally, my wife and I are opting to only dine outside when we travel, as we have a 1 year old baby that we would like to keep from getting the virus. This isn’t about debating what the right or wrong precautions are. I know there’s a wide spectrum when it comes to COVID concern, seemingly ranging from wearing a hazmat suit everywhere to actively trying to inhale strangers’ sneezes. And it’s pretty impossible to eat with your mask on.

Dining outside can be one of the best ways to limit your exposure, as the CDC currently recommends everyone should wear a mask inside regardless of vaccination status. If you’re going to Disney World, you may be concerned about how to visit parks packed with thousands of people safely. Whether you’re just trying to enjoy the nice weather or you’re doing your best to avoid dining inside due to the pandemic, there are many reasons to dine outside.
